Chambers County, TX – A woman was killed in a collision with a big rig in Chambers County on Thursday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place on Interstate Highway 10 near mile marker 805 at around 4:30 a.m. on November 28.
The DPS said a 2015 Jeep Patriot was traveling westbound on I-10 when it slammed into the rear of a commercial vehicle.

The Jeep then overturned and was hit by a westbound 1995 GMC pickup driven by Danian Salinas, 19, of Houston.
The driver of the Jeep, Daisy Martelly, 33, of Freeport, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
