Patricia Torres-Jimenez was waiting to turn left into a laudromat at 1400 TX-29 when her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2019 Dodge Charger.

Bertram, Texas — A31-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter were killed after a vehicle slammed into the rear of their car on Highway 29 Tuesday night, according to a Bertram Police Department report.
The deadly collision happened at about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, December 3 in the 1400 block of TX-29.
According to the report, the mother, identified as Patricia Torres-Jimenez, was driving a 2017 Toyota Yaris and was stopped, waiting to turn left into a laudromat when her vehicle was rear-ended by a 2019 Dodge Charger.
The impact pushed the Toyota Yaris into traffic and where it was hit an 18-wheeler and a BMW.
Muliple emergency agencues responded to the scene and fout Torress-Jimenez trapped in the vehicle while her daugher was ejected from the vehicle.
Torress-Jimenez and her 2-year-old daugher were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The other two drivers were not injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
