Austin, TX – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
The deadly collision took place in the 11500 block of Jollyville Road at about 5:51 a.m. January 30.
According to APD, a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the area in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was at the scene when authorities arrived.
Further details on the accident were not provided.
The Austin Police Department is working to determine the cause of the collision.
