McAllen, TX – One person was killed in a car accident in McAllen on Sunday morning, according to the McAllen Fire Department.
According to the report, the accident took place on South 23rd Street and Dicker Road at about 9:50 a.m. February 2.
The authorities reported that a Honda CRV and a Toyota RAV4 were involved in the collision that caused one of the vehicles to roll over.
Two women were trapped in the overturned vehicle.
Dolores Acevedo, 92, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved drivers were taken to a hospital and one of them had serious injuries.
The cause of the deadly collision is under investigation.
