According to the OPD, William Thompson was a passenger in a Hyundai Sonata that failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Faudree Road and Eastridge Road.

Odessa, TX – The Odessa Police Department (OPD) is investigating a deadly two-car collision that left 30-year-old William Thomson dead and injured two drivers in Odessa on Monday evening.
According to the OPD, the deadly collision happened at around 6:22 p.m. on February 3, in the area of Faudree and Eastridge Roads.
OPD said 33-year-old Brittany Redmon was driving a black Ford F-250 pickup truck southbound on Faudree while 29-year-old Trintin Conner was driving a blue Hyundai Sonata northbound on Faudree.

Reportedly, Conner failed to yield the right of way, attempted to turn west onto Eastridge, and the Sonata was hit by the oncoming Ford F-250.
William Thompson, who was a front passenger of the Sonata, was severely injured and was transported to Medical Center Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Both Redmon and Conner were also transported to MCH with non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional details regarding the accident were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
