Arlington, TX. – A woman died after being struck by a big rig as she stood outside her car on Tuesday night in Arlington.
According to Arlington police, the fatal collision happened around 11:33 p.m. on I-20 near South Collins Street.
A woman was standing outside of her vehicle when she was hit by a truck.
The unidentified woman was killed in the collision.
The truck driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities shut down the freeway for several hours as the scene was cleared.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
