Port Isabel, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning in Port Isabel.
According to the Port Isabel Police Department, the accident happened around 7:45 a.m. in the 400 block of N. Yturria Street.
A pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian was taken to Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville where she later died.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
