Pedro Flores-Gonzalez and David Tubb Killed in 18-wheeler collision on FM 1776 near Stockon Avenue in Ward County

Ward County, TX. – Two men were killed in a collision involving two 18-wheelers on Saturday morning in Ward County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 10:12 a.m. on FM 1776 near Stockon Avenue.
59-year-old Pedro Flores-Gonzalez was driving a 2013 Peterbilt southwest on FM 1776 when he braked after coming upon a stopped vehicle, veered into the northeast lane of FM 1776 and struck a 1999 Peterbilt traveling northeast.

Flores-Gonzalez and the driver of the 1999 Peterbilt truck, identified as 59-year-old David Allen Tubb, were killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
