Philip Toomes was riding a motorcycle southbound on Wetmore Road when he was hit by a truck

San Antonio, TX. – 75-year-old Philip Jack Toomes has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as the man who died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened in the 1100 block of Wetmore Road near Wurzbach Parkway at around 5:45 a.m.
Toomes was riding a motorcycle southbound on Wetmore Road when he was hit by a truck that was attempting to exit private property.
Moments later, a GMC Terrain crashed into the motorcycle and ran over the man.
Toomes was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
