Corpus Christi, TX. – 64-year-old Johnny Bryant has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision on Saturday morning in Corpus Christi.

According to the police, the deadly collision happened at Airline Road and Holly Road at around 7:26 a.m.

A pickup driver was traveling west on Holly Road and was turning south onto Airline when it struck a motorcyclist traveling east.

Bryant was transported to a local hospital where he later died, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The pickup driver was not intoxicated but was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
