Houston, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Thursday morning in Houston.
According to Houston police, the accident happened around 7 a.m. in the 6500 block of South Dairy Ashford Road.
A gray Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling northbound and struck a female pedestrian in the roadway.
Paramedics responded and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The 49-year-old male driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
