The motorcyclist was transported to UMC where he died while receiving treatment

Lubbock, TX. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, the accident happened around 8:07 p.m. at 4th Street and Slide Road.
A motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the collision. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
The motorcyclist was transported to UMC where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
