
Georgetown, TX – A Georgetown Fire Department firefighter was killed in a motorcycle traffic collision on US-29 Friday morning in Georgetown.
The deadly collision happened at about 9 a.m. on April 11 on US-29, west of Wolf Ranch Parkway.
Reportedly, a Georgetown firefighter was riding a motorcycle heading home when he collided with another vehicle.
The firefighter was transported to Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital, where he died at about 10 a.m., according to a City of Georgetown release.
The name of the firefighter has not been released.
Authorities said one person in the involved vehicle declined to be transported to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
