
Houston, TX – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Houston on Monday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
The incident took place in the 5900 block of South Freeway near MacGregor Street at about 8:35 p.m. on April 21.
A man was reportedly running in the main lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a black GMC Yukon heading south toward the MacGregor Street exit.
The pedestrian, a 50-year-old man, died at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
The HPD is investigating the accident.
