One person injured in Interstate 30 car accident near Cockrell Hill Road in Dallas

Dallas, TX. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler on Saturday morning in Dallas.
According to the Dallas Fire-Rescue, the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Cockrell Hill Road.
Four vehicles including an 18-wheeler that leaked diesel fuel from one of its saddle tanks onto the highway were involved in the accident.
Hazmat crews responded to the scene to clean up the spilled diesel fuel.
One person was taken to the hospital, but their condition was not disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
