A pedestrian was trying to cross the highway and was hit by a Ford Fusion traveling east

San Antonio, TX – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a woman who died in a Northeast Side crash on Friday afternoon as 50-year-old Nayda Velez de Guijarro.
The deadly collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on May 2 at the intersection of Harry Wurzbach Road and Loop 410.
Reportedly, a white Dodge Ram was traveling southbound on Harry Wurzbach at a high speed when it crashed into the passenger side of a black Toyota Tacoma that was making a left turn at the intersection.
Guijarro, who was a passenger in the Tacoma, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ram was injured in the crash.

San Antonio, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident on Friday afternoon in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Harry Wurzbach Road and Loop 410 at around 1:35 p.m.
A white Dodge Ram was traveling southbound on Harry Wurzbach at a high speed when it collided with a black Toyota Tacoma that was making a left turn.
The 50-year-old driver of the black Toyota Tacoma was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
