Austin, TX. – A motorcyclist was critically injured after colliding with a car early Wednesday morning in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened on MoPac Expressway near 35th Street at around 3:30 a.m.
A motorcyclist and a Toyota Camry were involved in the accident, but the circumstances of the collision were not immediately determined.
The rider was transported to the hospital and later transferred to the intensive care unit.
The driver of the Toyota did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
