The woman and the 69-year-old driver of the big rig were injured and were taken to hospital for treatment

San Antonio, TX. – Two people were critically injured in a collision involving a semi-truck on Thursday morning in San Antonio.
The collision happened on Interstate 35 South near Cassin Road at around 11:45 a.m., according to the police.
An 18-wheeler was traveling south on I-35 when the driver came upon traffic that had stopped in front of him. The driver hit the brakes, jackknifed, and struck an SUV driven by a 75-year-old woman.
The woman and the 69-year-old driver of the big rig were injured and were taken to hospital for treatment.
A second 18-wheeler truck was clipped during the collision.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
