One person had to be extricated before being flown to a trauma center for treatment

El Paso, TX. – Two people were injured in a collision that happened on Friday evening in El Paso.
According to the El Paso Fire Department, the accident happened at the intersection of George Dieter Drive and Montana Avenue at around 4:11 p.m.
An 18-wheeler and a second vehicle collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
One person had to be extricated before being flown to a trauma center for treatment.
A second person was also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
