Jeannette Young was taken to a local hospital where she died on Wednesday

Temple, TX. – A 64-year-old woman died days after being injured in a bicycle accident in Temple.
According to Temple Police Department, the accident happened around 9:21 a.m. on June 1, in the area of Research Parkway and Prairie View Road.
Jeannette Kay Young was riding a bicycle eastbound across the intersection and was struck by a southbound car.
Kay Young was taken to a local hospital where she died on Wednesday.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
