Spicewood, TX – A teen driver was killed and another person was injured Thursday afternoon in a head-on collision in Spicewood, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal collision happened around 2:30 p.m., June 5, on State Highway 71 near Gregg Drive.
DPS said Quincy Jette, 19, was driving eastbound when the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a diesel tanker.
Jette was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tanker sustained non-incapacitating injuries in the collision.
The collision remains under investigation.
