Richardson, TX – A man was killed and a former Dallas Cowboys player was arrested on Saturday following a motorcycle accident in Richardson, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 4:51 a.m., June 7, in the 2400 block of U.S. 75 (North Central Expressway).
Police said Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph Jr., 25, of Allen, was driving a BMW sedan northbound when he collided with a motorcycle ridden by Cody Morris, 27, of Plano.
Morris was pronounced dead at the scene.
Joseph left the scene and later called the police confessing that he had been involved in the accident. He was then arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Collision Involving Personal Injury or Death.
The Richardson Police Department’s Special Crash Investigation Team is investigating the accident.
