The officers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Houston, TX. – Two Houston Police Department officers were injured in a fiery collision while responding to a call on Sunday morning in northeast Houston.
According to the HPD report, the accident happened just after midnight on Homestead Road near St. Louis Street.
The officers were traveling north on Homestead when they were struck by a white Dodge that was leaving a parking lot from a side street.
The patrol car caught fire after the collision.
The officers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
