The truck driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

Callahan County, TX. – Rosa Escobedo, 79, was killed in a car accident that left another person injured on Friday evening in Callahan County.
The fatal collision happened around 5 p.m. on I-20 east of Baird.
The driver of a vehicle reportedly failed to maintain a single lane and veered off the freeway where it overturned.
Escobedo, a resident of Cisco, was ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
