Harris County, TX. – 12-year-old Zachariah Benjamin died after being struck by a car as he rode a bicycle in Harris County on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the accident happened on Suburban Road north of East Mount Houston at around 8:40 p.m.
The juvenile was riding a bicycle on a sidewalk and was hit by a black Chrysler 300 that ran a red light.
Benjamin was killed in the accident.
The driver of the car did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
