Plano, TX – A person was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Plano, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 10:45 p.m., June 11, at the intersection of US Highway 75 northbound and East Park Boulevard.
Police said a pedestrian was walking westbound and was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of the highway when they were struck by a northbound vehicle. The impact threw the pedestrian into another lane. A second car swerved to avoid the pedestrian but slammed into the first vehicle. The first vehicle then slammed into a third vehicle.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The conditions of the people in the three cars were not disclosed.
The Plano Police Department is investigating the accident.
