Lacy, TX. – A Trinity County Sheriff’s deputy was hospitalized after being seriously injured in a collision in Lacy on Tuesday, June 3.

According to the police, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on State Highway 94 at Scrub Creek Road.

The deputy was driving a patrol car when he lost control and crashed.

The deputy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
