Maradiaga was reportedly hit by a car in a parking lot of the Chevron gas station in unclear circumstances

Orange, TX. – Maria Maradiaga, 43, has been identified as the woman who died after being struck by a car in Orange on Friday, June 20.
According to the Orange Police Department, the accident happened around 7:05 a.m. at 7120 Interstate 10.
Maradiaga was reportedly hit by a car in a parking lot of the Chevron gas station in unclear circumstances.
The woman, a resident of Palestine, Texas, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
