Austin, TX. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Monday night in Austin.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the accident happened on southbound MoPac Expressway near West Braker Lane at around 9:32 p.m.
A vehicle reportedly crashed at a construction zone, pinning the driver.
The driver had to be extricated before being taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
