San Angelo, TX – Three people were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in San Angelo, according to the police.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m., June 29, at the intersection of West 19th Street and North Irving Street.
Police said a Jeep ran a stop sign at the intersection and hit a Cadillac. The impact pushed the Cadillac into a utility pole.
One person in the Cadillac sustained chest pain while another person sustained a head abrasion. Both victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The Jeep driver sustained leg pain and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. They were cited for disregarding a stop sign.
The police are investigating the accident.
