The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., June 29, in the 9600 block of Montana Avenue near McRae Boulevard.

El Paso, TX – A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic accident in El Paso, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., June 29, in the 9600 block of Montana Avenue near McRae Boulevard.
Police said Nickolus Lucero, 36, of El Paso, was riding a 2015 Yamaha YZF sports motorcycle eastbound at a high rate of speed.
Alexandra Martinez, 40, of East El Paso, was driving a 2021 GMC Terrain and had exited a private driveway. He began heading down on Montana and was rear-ended by Lucero’s motorcycle.
Lucero was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Speed on the part of the motorcycle and failure to yield the right of way on the part of the SUV were factors in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
