Houston, TX – A 21-year-old man was killed on Friday in a two-vehicle collision in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly collision happened around 12:20 p.m., June 27, in the 2000 block of Kingwood Drive at the intersection of Trailwood.
Police said a blue Chrysler Town and Country was traveling northbound on Trailwood when it ran a red light at the intersection and was struck by a black Nissan Armada, which was traveling eastbound on Kingwood Drive.
The Chrysler driver, a 21-year-old man, crawled out of the window and said that he was experiencing breathing difficulties. A nearby HPD officer began CPR on the victim until the Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.
The Nissan driver, a 54-year-old woman, was uninjured in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
