Houston, TX – The 76-year-old man who was critically injured in a pedestrian accident in May in Houston has died, according to the police.
The victim was pronounced dead on Tuesday, July 1.
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m., May 25, in the 4600 block of West Orem Drive.
Police said a gray Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound when the man stepped into the roadway, outside of a crosswalk, and was struck by the car.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died on July 1. His name has not been released.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident, was not intoxicated, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
