San Jacinto County, TX – One person was seriously injured last Monday in a two-vehicle accident in San Jacinto County, according to the Texas DPS.
The accident happened around 1:27 p.m., June 23, at the intersection of State Highway 150 and Evergreen Heights Road.
DPS said a 2006 Honda Accord was traveling westbound and was being followed by a 2016 Ram 1500. The Honda slowed down to make a left turn, and as it was turning, the Ram entered the oncoming lane to travel around the Honda and hit it on the driver’s side.
The Honda driver, 27-year-old Blane Mizell of Coldspring, was taken to HCA Conroe with life-threatening injuries.
The Ram driver, 44-year-old William Warren of Round Rock, was uninjured in the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
