Perez and Calvillo were taken to a local hospital, where they both died while receiving treatment.
Harris County, TX. – Authorities have identified two people who died after being struck by vehicles as they rode their vehicles near Fallbrook in Houston on Tuesday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 11 p.m. on Veterans Memorial Drive.
Krystal Calvillo and her boyfriend, Daniel Perez, were riding their bicycles when Perez was hit by a southbound Toyota Rav 4 SUV.
Calvillo stopped to attend to Perez when she was hit by a car.
Perez and Calvillo were taken to a local hospital, where they both died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the Toyota SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The driver of the second car did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
