Austin, TX – Several people were injured Thursday night in a multi-vehicle collision in Northeast Austin, according to the police.
The collision happened around 9:00 p.m. on July 10 in the 12700 block of N IH-35 Southbound near Tech Ridge Boulevard.
Police said the collision involved an 18-wheeler and five other vehicles.
Eight people were involved in the collision. Three children were taken to Dell Children’s with minor injuries. Two adults were transported to St. David’s with minor injuries. Another adult was taken to Dell Seton with minor injuries. Two adults refused transport to the hospital.
The collision closed all lanes from northbound I-35 at Tech Ridge Boulevard and southbound I-35 at Parmer Lane.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
