Chaparral man was killed in a collision at Gateway North and Kenworthy in Northeast El Paso

El Paso, TX. – A 50-year-old Chaparral man was killed in a collision in Northeast El Paso on Wednesday evening.
According to the El Paso Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Gateway North Boulevard and Kenworthy Street.
Raymond Lee Ervin Massey, 50, was driving a white Chevy Trax on U.S. 54 and was turning onto 10600 Gateway North when he struck the rear corner of another vehicle at the intersection.
The impact caused Massey to lose control and crash into a concrete barrier.
Massey was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
