Houston, TX – A bicyclist was killed on Sunday in a traffic accident in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 8:50 p.m. on July 13 in the 3800 block of Dunvale Road.
Police said a male bicyclist was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when he collided with a southbound white Dodge Challenger.
The bicyclist was ejected and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has been released.
The Challenger driver, a 28-year-old man, did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
