The deadly accident happened around 6:22 a.m. on July 18 on SH 321 near CR 2344.

Liberty County, TX – A man was killed early Friday morning in a motorcycle accident in Liberty County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened around 6:22 a.m. on July 18 on SH 321 near CR 2344.
DPS said Tana Nicole Wortham, 18, of Cleveland, was driving a 2003 Nissan Altima northbound on the highway. A Cleveland man, who was well known by Wortham, was riding a 2004 Honda Shadow motorcycle behind her.
The man, at some point, texted Wortham saying that he was running low on gas. Wortham pulled onto the shoulder and tried to make a U-turn to head back toward a gas station. As she was turning, she pulled directly into the path motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to crash into the side of the Nissan.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
No other information was available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
