San Antonio, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The deadly accident was reported around 11:00 p.m. on July 18 in the 700 block of South New Braunfels Avenue.
Police said a person was crossing the street from eastbound to westbound, outside of a crosswalk, when they were struck by a southbound silver 2025 Toyota Corolla.
The person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.
The Corolla driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. They were not intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
