Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Amarillo Crash on Plains Boulevard near Dixie Street
Amarillo, Texas (November 25, 2018) – A man was critically injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in northwest Amarillo, a local news source reported.
The accident took place at about 4:00 p.m. November 24, on Plains Boulevard near Dixie Street.
Police said a 25-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Plains Boulevard when he collided for unknown reasons with an SUV.
The man was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. His name was not immediately disclosed.
The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.
The Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department is conducting the investigation.
