Laredo, TX – A 24-year-old woman was critically injured Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident in Laredo, according to the Laredo Police Department.
The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on July 22 near Jaime Zapata Memorial Highway and U.S. Highway 83.
Police said the woman was riding a motorcycle when a car turned in front of her, resulting in a collision.
The woman, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition.
The car driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. They showed no signs of being under the influence.
Low visibility was a possible factor in the accident.
LPD’s crash team is investigating the accident.
