10-Year-Old Child Airlifted after Sherman Skateboarding Accident on North Cleveland Avenue
Dallas, Texas (November 27, 2018) – A 10-year-old child was struck and injured by a passing vehicle while riding his skateboard Sunday in Sherman, authorities said.
The accident took place at an unspecified time Sunday, November 25 in the 800 block of North Cleveland Avenue.
According to the authorities, the child was riding the skateboard when for unknown reasons the child was hit by a passing car.
The child sustained head injuries and was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital, but was expected to recover.
The crash remains under investigation.
