San Antonio, TX – A rider was killed Saturday night in a motorcycle accident in San Antonio, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 11:05 p.m. on July 26 in the 13500 block of I-10 West near De Zavala Road.
Police said a motorcyclist was racing another motorcycle in the southbound lanes of the highway. The motorcyclist lost control, was ejected, and was run over by an 18-wheeler.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The 18-wheeler driver and the other motorcyclist stopped and cooperated with the investigators.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
