Irving, TX – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a traffic accident in Irving, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on August 1 in the 500 block of W. I-635 Service Road.
Authorities said a motorcycle was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on the service road when a vehicle pulled out onto the service road, also to go westbound, and did not see the motorcycle. The motorcyclist rear-ended the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where they died. Their identity has not been released.
No other details were released.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
