Bystanders were able to rescue four people inside the vehicle before first responders arrived

Conroe, TX. – Two people were killed in a car accident that left four other people injured in Conroe County early Saturday morning.
According to the Conroe Police Department, the accident happened around 2 a.m. in the 2300 block of White Oak Boulevard near Park Boulevard.
A white Kia Soul crashed and caught fire. Bystanders were able to rescue four people inside the vehicle before first responders arrived.
The 22-year-old driver and another passenger were trapped in the burning vehicle and were unable to be rescued and were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
