Marc Stephen Deffenbaugh, of Abilene, was hospitalized with severe injuries

Clay County, TX. – A Wichita Falls woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night near Petrolia in Clay County.
The fatal collision happened around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Benton Street and South Prairie Avenue, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Brittany Michelle Bowman, 36, was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima northwest on South Prairie when she collided with a 2012 Dodge Ram that was traveling northeast on East Benston Street.
The impact of the collision sent the Nissan off the roadway and into a ditch.
Bowman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the pickup, 47-year-old Marc Stephen Deffenbaugh, of Abilene, was hospitalized with severe injuries.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
