Andrew Daigle hit and killed by car on FM 856 North in Cherokee County

Cherokee County, TX. – A teenager died after being struck by a car on Sunday morning in Troup.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 5:20 a.m. in the 8000 block of FM 856 North.
Andrew “Drew” Daigle, 16, was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
The teen, a 10th-grade student at Bullard High School, was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
