Elderly Man Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Vance Jackson Road
San Antonio, Texas (December 3, 2018) – A man jaywalking in his wheelchair was injured after being struck by a vehicle and knocked out of his wheelchair Saturday night in San Antonio, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1 on Vance Jackson Road, police said.
According to the police, an elderly man was hit by a westbound SUV and knocked him out of his wheelchair onto the ground while he was jay-walking in his wheelchair crossing Vance Jackson Road.
The unidentified man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
No other details were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
