Austin, TX. – Lynda R. Pierson, 75, has been identified as the woman who died four days after a two-car accident near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened around 3:09 p.m. on August 16, on East State Highway 71 at South FM 973 Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Pierson was driving one of the cars and was transported to a local hospital, where she died on Saturday.
The second driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
